Press releases
June 3, 2026SaborCup adds three new single-origin lots from Ethiopia and ColombiaOur largest seasonal release yet brings three micro-lots to the rotation, sourced through direct relationships with growers we've worked with for years.
The three lots — two washed Ethiopians and a Colombian honey — join the subscription menu this month and are available as one-time bags while they last. Each was bought directly from growers we've worked with across multiple harvests, and every bag is roasted to order and shipped within 48 hours. Subscribers can swap any of the new lots into their next box from their account.
April 18, 2026SaborCup crosses 8,000 active subscribersTwo years in, the roast-to-order model continues to grow — with retention that has stayed strong as the base expands.
The milestone comes a little over two years after the company was founded and roughly a year after the subscription platform launched. Growth has been driven almost entirely by word of mouth and the flexibility of the plans — subscribers can pause, skip, swap a roast, or cancel anytime, which the team credits for keeping retention high.
