1.Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how SaborCup, Inc. (“SaborCup,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit our site, create an account, place an order, or subscribe (the “Service”). It applies to information we are responsible for as a business.
2.Information we collect
Information you provide
When you create an account, place an order, subscribe, contact us, or leave a review, you may give us your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, account password, coffee preferences, and the content of your messages.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, we collect basic device and connection data such as your IP address and browser type, along with the essential cookies described below. We use this to keep you signed in, secure the Service, and prevent abuse — not to build an advertising profile of you.
Information from third parties
We receive limited information from the service providers that help us run the Service — our payment processor (Stripe) and shipping carriers. Your full payment card details are handled by Stripe; we never store them.
3.How we use your information
We use personal information to process and deliver your orders; manage your subscription and recurring billing; provide customer support; tailor your coffee recommendations and subscription; send transactional messages such as order and shipping updates; send our newsletter when you opt in; operate, secure, and improve the Service; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with our legal obligations.
6.Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing.
California residents (under the CCPA/CPRA) and residents of the EU and UK (under the GDPR) have specific rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we don't sell or share personal information for advertising, there's no ad opt-out to request — but you can still exercise every other right.
To make a request, email privacy@saborcup.com. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter anytime using the link in any email. We'll verify and respond to requests as required by law.
7.Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it's no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8.Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9.International users
We operate in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in a country with different data-protection laws, and we take the steps required by law for such transfers.
10.Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy as our practices or the law change. We'll post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Policy.
